Since 1987, through the generosity of Cindy Asplund’s high school classmates, friends, family and associates, a scholarship has been available to a graduating senior entering a medical science field in a baccalaureate degree program.
Over the past years, the fund has grown in size and the number of scholarships awarded has grown.
In 2010, $25,000 in scholarships were awarded to seven local graduates.
